In this project, communications between few S7-200 PLCs were built up. There are two mimic panel located at E&M building monitor the real time status of different panels in Shatin and Kowloon buildings. The mimic panel provides details status on Genset, Battery Charger and UPS of the system. This is done by the PLC system inside the mimic panel, and there are two telemetry PLC panels collecting the signals which located at other buildings. The signals will be sent to the PLC inside the mimic panel in E&M building via PPI network, and this PLC acted as a master PLC to receive all the signals. There is a small mimic panel located at Administration Building monitoring a few signals also. These signals are sent from the master PLC.
